Elton John has married his long time partner David Furnish.
The singer-songwriter shared a picture on Instagram of the couple in the registry office with the caption: "That's the legal bit done. Now on to the ceremony! Share the love."
John and Furnish entered into a civil partnership in 2005 having begun their relationship in 1993. They have two children together, three-year-old Zachary and one-year-old Elijah.
