The Republic of Telly Christmas Special airs on RTÉ2 on Monday December 22 at 10:00pm, and fans have been promised "a very different Nativity".
The team behind the show says: "There's seasonal fun with Bridget and Eamonn - and it's been nine months in the making.
"Also - it wouldn't be Christmas without an episode of Doctor Ha! Starring Kevin McGahern as the Time Lord from Cavan, battling a mysterious GAA-obsessed enemy."
