Angelina Jolie has revealed that at times she has been "bored and sloppy" in her career.
The Unbroken director told The Hollywood Reporter: "There have been times in my career when I've gotten bored and sloppy.
"But I've done my best to listen to my gut. Because I feel you can do whatever you want in this life. So long as you don't hurt anybody, you can do anything."
The actress also spoke about the fact that she doesn't have a publicist or a manager as she prefers to work directly with people.
She explained: "I had [a publicist] once, years ago - I didn't like it.
"I like to work very directly with people. I don't want somebody in the middle. I'd rather speak for myself."
