The Michael family has been dropped from Channel 4's Gogglebox because dad Andrew Michael is standing for the British Parliament.
The family - Andrew, Carolyne, Louis and Alex - will no longer appear in the hit series as Andrew's political ambitions with UKIP were considered a conflict.
Mother Carolyne confirmed the family's exit on Twitter last night, writing: "its with g8t sadness that we must say goodbye to the wonderful Gogglebox family. Andy entering politics so can no longer stay with it."
She added: "We've loved every min of our involvement. It's the best show on TV & I want to thank everyone for their wonderful support. we'll miss u."
The final episode in the current season of Gogglebox will air tomorrow December 19 on Channel 4.
