Barack Obama has revealed that Boyhood is his favourite film of 2014.
The US President chose Richard Linklater's coming-of-age drama as his must-see movie of the year.
According to Politico, Obama said: "Boyhood was a great movie. That, I think, was my favourite movie this year."
Boyhood was filmed over 12 years and follows the life of Mason Jr (Ellar Coltrane) from the age of 6 to 18.
The film has been nominated in the Best Motion Picture (Drama) category at the Golden Globe awards, while Linklater has picked up a Best Director nomination.
Ethan Hawke and Patricia Arquette have also both been nominated for Golden Globe awards for their supporting performances in the film.
