RTÉ2 will live simulcast the inaugural BBC Music Awards at 8:00pm tonight, Thursday December 11, with Ed Sheeran, One Direction, Take That, Coldplay and Ellie Goulding among those performing.
The show, which the BBC is airing on BBC One and BBC Radio 1 and Radio 2, is presented by Chris Evans and Fearne Cotton and will feature the BBC Concert Orchestra performing with a selection of artists.
Also on the bill are: Tom Jones, Will.i.am, Clean Bandit, Calvin Harris, John Newman, Gregory Porter, George Ezra, Paloma Faith, Labrinth and Ella Henderson.
The show will also air in Denmark, the US and Japan.
