Paramount Pictures has launched a campaign for Transformers: Age of Extinction's inclusion on the Academy Awards' Best Picture Shortlist.
The studio recently took out 'For Your Consideration' adverts for its films and has asked members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to consider Michael Bay's blockbuster for the top award.
Paramount also wants the film to be considered for other awards, including Best Director for Bay and Best Adapted Screenplay for Ehren Kruger.
Paramount has also launched campaigns for Interstellar, Noah, The Gambler, Selma and Men, Women & Children.
Transformers: Age of Extinction reached $1 billion in worldwide ticket sales this summer.
It stars Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Nicola Peltz, Kelsey Grammer and Irish actor Jack Reynor.
