Actress Kate Hudson and musician Matt Bellamy have separated after four years together.
A representative for the Muse frontman told E! News: "Kate and Matt have been separated for some time now. Despite this, they remain very close friends and committed co-parents."
The pair became engaged in August 2011, and are parents to three-year-old son Bingham Hawn.
Rumours of a split were reported at the beginning of the year when Hudson presented an award at the Oscars without her engagement ring.
