The Script's Glen Power has said the band are not "heroes", despite rescuing a woman from a car crash last week.
The band were on their way to a show when they witnessed a car crash on a busy UK motorway last Thursday (December 4) and pulled in to help the driver, moving her from the car and phoning for an ambulance.
Power told the Daily Star Online: "No we're not heroes. It's a bit strange people saying it. Anyone would have done the same. When you see someone in trouble and you're so close to it and there's no-one else taking action, you've got to do something.
"You just think if that was somebody close to you in the car, what would you want someone to do? We just tore the doors off and tried to help, that's all."
