Young and Beautiful singer Lana Del Rey has confirmed work has begun on her new album.
The 29-year-old star, real name Lizzy Grant, released her second album Ultraviolence in June, and has already started recording its follow up.
In a new interview with her sister, Chuck Grant, for Galore Magazine, Del Rey said, "I just wrote two songs for Tim Burton and Harvey Weinestein's film called Big Eyes and I'm working on a new record."
She added, "I'm also always writing small pieces for independent films etc. Dan Heath and Rick Nowels are two of my dearest friends and producers and we are always up to something."
It was recently announced that Del Rey will be joined on her Endless Summer Tour with Courtney Love in 2015.
