Black Sea director Kevin MacDonald reckons the film is kind of like a play.
In an interview with RTÉ TEN's John Byrne, the 47-year-old talks about the submarine-based drama that stars Jude Law as the captain of a ship searching for sunken gold.
"The great thing about making a film on a submarine is that it's kind of like making a play," MacDonald says. "You've got this limited environment.
"And because it's like a play it becomes about human nature very quickly. And that's what, I think, we try to explore in this film."
