Michael Fassbender has been linked to his The Light Between Oceans co-star Alicia Vikander.
The X-Men star is reported to be dating the 26-year-old Swedish actress who plays his wife in the upcoming film, according to E! News.
A source said: "Michael and Alicia are casually dating, spending a lot of time together."
Representatives for the stars have not commented on the news.
The pair were photographed together at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia on Sunday (November 30). Fassbender went surfing before dining with Vikander on the shore.
The Light Between Oceans is set for release in 2015 and is based on the psychological thriller novel by M.L Stedman.
Fassbender plays a lighthouse keeper who lives on an island in Australia with his wife Isabel (Vikander).
The couple, who have been trying unsuccessfully to have a child for years, one day discover a boat that has washed up on shore. On board is a dead man and a living baby girl, who they raise as their own.
However, they later discover that a woman on the mainland (Rachel Weisz) has been looking for her missing husband and daughter.
