Actresses Rebecca Hall and Helena Bonham Carter have joined Steve McQueen's HBO pilot Codes of Conduct.
They will star alongside Paul Dano (12 Years A Slave) and newcomer Devon Terrell in the show.
Codes of Conduct tells the story of Beverly Snow (Terrell), a confident young black man from Queens entering New York high society.
He aims to break into the social circles of Manhattan's elite, testing the boundaries of access and social mobility.
Iron Man 3 star Hall will play Rebecca Rotmensen, the eldest child of a New York billionaire, who will emerge as Beverly's foremost rival.
Carter will play author and psychiatrist Esther Kaufmann, a divorced mother of two who is living life on her own terms.
Codes of Conduct was written by 12 Years A Slave director McQueen and World War Z's Matthew Michael Carnahan.
