The Almost Famous and Scandal actresses are said to be in early talks for Warner Bros' thriller, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The film will centre around a newly-married mother who realises that her husband's ex is working to bring her down.
It is yet to be revealed which roles Hudson and Washington would take in Unforgettable.
