Cameron Diaz has said that singing in Annie was "the most terrifying thing" she has ever done in a movie.
The actress plays Miss Hannigan in the remake of the Broadway musical alongside Quvenzhané Wallis in the titular role.
Diaz spoke to Cosmopolitan about her experience filming the movie, saying that the singing was the "most terrifying thing... [she had] ever done in a movie".
She added: "I cried a lot."
The 45-year-old star, who is currently dating Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden, also shared her thoughts on what makes a good relationship.
Diaz explained: "Timing is everything. If you get into a relationship where you want something the guy doesn't want, it's never gonna work.
"You're never going to get him to be in that place. No matter how old you are, finding the guy who's in the same place as you are and wants to show up is the only way a relationship works, period."
Annie hits cinemas in Ireland on December 26.
