Gwen Stefani has said she doesn't want her stint on The Voice to come to an end, while revealing that the experience was "intense."

The 45-year-old Don't Speak singer, who is coming to the end of her first stint on the show, admits she would love to return for another series.

Speaking to Access Hollywood Live, she said, "I haven't even been thinking about winning. The whole experience is so intense... You're really invested and it's getting really sad when you go home... It's a really amazing experience for me.

"I just want the people that I love, that I've got to know to, like, do well. I want them to all stay on. I want us all to be on TV forever, I don't want it to end.

"It's a really fun thing... I would love to come back."
