In this new four-part series Neil Delamere takes on Ireland’s heroes, bringing the true stories behind four of his favourite Irish icons. Brendan Behan: The Roaring Boy, 9.35pm RTÉ One

Actor Adrian Dunbar travels to the cities in which Crumlin maverick Brendan Behan lived and where his reputation and output is still highly regarded. He meets Irish film director Jim Sheridan, writer JP Dunleavy and actor Kathy Burke all whom had a personal connection to the author. In Paris he visits the Left Bank cafes and hotels where Behan started what would become The Borstal Boy. In New York, Dunbar - an avowed Behan fan - discovers how the Dubliner became a mentor to young Beat writers in Greenwich Village.

Posh People: Inside Tatler, 9.00pm BBC Two

Bespoke English glossy Tatler has a small but loyal readership and the magazine is keen to cultivate that loyalty with ongoing appeal to younger readers. Episode two of this series goes behind the scenes at Tatler’s Bystander Teen Ball, a key event for any aspiring young toff. The Tatler team also put together their most important and popular supplement, the Tatler Schools Guide. The right public school remains the most important entry point into the world of privilege and Tatler helpfully compiles an annual guide. This episode reveals the creation of their newest supplement - the Jewellery and Watch Guide, as well as the creation of a special 80’s Sloane edition.
