Chris Pine has said he sometimes seeks acting advice from his mother and loves to share his professional life with his parents.
Speaking to Metro about his actress-turned-psychotherapist mother Gwynne Gilford, he said: "She's a fantastic resource. If you want to talk acting with her you can, if you want to talk intellectually with her you can."
He added: "It's good to be able to share my professional life with my parents now. I can call them after a hard day's work and they understand [Pine's father is the actor Robert Pine]. Having that common language with them is great."
