Irish people sent more tweets about this year's Rose of Tralee festival than any other TV show screened in Ireland, according to the results of this year's Tweeties.
The Kerry festival had our fingers dancing the most on the old twitter machine and took the #TweetieTV prize for the second year in a row.
The annual #RaboTweeties were held in Dublin's Sugar Club last night (November 26) with host Colm O'Regan, the man behind @IrishMammies.
According to social media statistics figures from 2013, there are 600,000 Twitter accounts based in Ireland.
Organiser Stephen Conmy said: "Ireland is a nation of tweeters and the #RaboTweeties is the first awards show to recognise Irish people and organisations on Twitter."
Other winners last night were Jedward in the #TweetieCeleb category, The Original Rude Boys won Ireland's favourite band in the music category, and the best parody account went to newcomer @boringkearney.
