Adam Pally is set to exit US rom sitcom The Mindy Project.
The 32-year-old actor will bow out of his role as wisecracking obstetrician Peter Prentice when his current contract expires in early 2015, according to TV Line.
However, Pally has the option of guest starring when and if his schedule permits. He recently inked a deal with ABC Studios to produce projects for broadcast, comedy and streaming services.
