Elizabeth Banks has directed the sequel, after starring in and producing the original film.
The sequel picks up as the Barden Bellas prepare to compete in the a cappella world championships.
Banks is reprising her role of Gail in the latest instalment, while Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow and Adam DeVine are also returning.
Pitch Perfect 2 will hit cinemas on May 15, 2015.
