Paul Greengrass is set to bring George Orwell's classic dystopian novel 1984 back to the big screen.
The Bourne Ultimatum director is on board to helm the Sony Pictures project, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
Greengrass will reunite with Scott Rudin for the film, after previously working with the producer on Captain Philips, while Gina Rosenblum is set to produce.
Orwell's tale was previously brought to the big screen in 1956 and 1984, with John Hurt playing Winston Smith in the latter movie.
