EastEnders actor Ben Hardy, who plays Peter Beale on the Walford based soap, is reportedly being considered for a role in the next X Men film.
The 23-year-old actor is up against Interstellar's Timothee Chalamet and Neverland's Charlie Rowe to play a young Cyclopes in X Men: Apocalypse according to The Wrap.
Director Bryan Singer is also looking at Chloe Moretz, Elle Fanning and Hailee Steinfeld to take on the role of a young Jean Grey.
X-Men: Apocalypse is rumoured to focus on the romance between Mystique and Magneto played by Jennifer Lawrence and Michael Fassbender. The X Men will also face off against their classic enemy, the ancient, immortal mutant Apocalypse.
James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult and Evan Peters will all also return.
X-Men: Apocalypse is due in cinemas May 19, 2016.
