Imitation Game wins big at Hollywood Film Awards

The Imitation Game was the big winner at Friday night's Hollywood Film Awards, taking home four awards.

Benedict Cumberbatch received the Hollywood Actor award for his portrayal of Alan Turing in the film, while co-star Keira Knightley's performance was also recognised with the Supporting Actress award.

The Imitation Game director Morten Tyldum was honoured in his category and the film also picked up the award for Best Composer (Alexandre Desplat).

Gone Girl won the biggest award of the night for Hollywood Film and was also recognised in the Screenwriting (Gillian Flynn) and Sound (Ren Klyce) categories.

Eddie Redmayne took home the award for Hollywood Breakout Performance (Actor) for his portrayal of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything and fellow British actor Jack O'Connell took home the New Hollywood Award for his role in Angelina Jolie's upcoming film Unbroken.

The Hollywood Actress award went to Julianne Moore for Still Alice, with Robert Duvall taking home the Hollywood Supporting Actor award for The Judge.
