It's all to plug It's The Girls, the ultimate dame's new covers album of songs by girl groups such as The Ronettes, The Boswell Sisters, The Andrew Sisters, The Chiffons, as well as Motown acts like Martha Reeves and The Vandellas, and The Marvelettes.
Here's the picture - it's possibly better than Bette's role in modern day weepie, Beaches.
