Hollyoaks star Gemma Merna was reportedly all set to head into the jungle but at the last minute was replaced by Irish model Nadia Forde.
According to several reports Gemma Merna, who has just filmed her final scenes as Carmel McQueen on Hollyoaks, had her bags packed and was ready to fly Down Under but was replaced at the last minute by Irish model and singer, Nadia Forde.
A source at ITV said: "Gemma is fuming. Everything was set for the jungle she had been in talks for so long, she was so excited to head to Australia.
“Then all of a sudden this Irish girl replaced her. No one knows who she is in the UK and Gemma is confused by it all."
Forde is set to enter the jungle this Sunday alongside TOWIE star Gemma Collins, Allo Allo actress Vicki Michelle, TV host Melanie Sykes, US TV personality Kendra Wilkinson, newsreader Michael Buerk, former footballer Jimmy Bullard, Coronation Street's Craig Charles, former World Superbike racer Carl Fogarty and rapper Tinchy Stryder.
