X Factor choreographer Brian Friedman has denied claims that Cheryl Fernandez-Versini mimed on The X Factor.
The 37-year-old dancer has dismissed remarks that Chezza wasn't singing her new track I Don't Care live last weekend (November 2).
In his Mirror column, Friedman wrote: "I'm p****d that people are claiming Cheryl mimed on Sunday night because I know first hand that she sang live.
"She was doing different ad-libs in her vocals than she planned, and she stepped out of some of the choreography so she could focus on singing.
"It's about how you feel when you leave the stage that matters – nothing else matters."
Speaking about watching the show back with Fernandez-Versini afterwards, Friedman added: "She couldn't have been happier.
"We had an I Don't Care chant backstage to prep for it, and she got out there and nailed it in one take."
