British soul singer Sam Smith is being linked with singing the next James Bond film theme tune.
According to the New York Post's Page Six, he’s in talks with Bond franchise producer Barbara Broccoli about the high-profile role.
The as-yet-untitled fourth James Bond movie starring Daniel Craig is due in cinemas next November, so there's plenty of time left.
According to Entertainment Weekly, who contacted the singer's rep, the official Smith line is that “it’s not confirmed”.
