Resurrection, 8.35pm, RTÉ 2

More walking dead as Caleb Richards returns, with no memory of dying from a heart attack. His son and daughter are emotionally divided over his return, and Caleb resumes his old, bad habits. The Langstons must find a way to re-introduce Jacob to society and ask Pastor Tom for help, since he was friends with Jacob as a child. Meanwhile, Sheriff Langston is told his wife was having an affair, and the man tried to save her from drowning.

Outlander, 11.00pm, RTÉ 2

The fantasy drama continues as Claire hopes her medical skills will earn her the trust of the MacKenzies, and eventual freedom, but she only makes herself more valuable. And by saving Mrs Fitzgibbons' nephew from a poisoning which Friar Bain had declared demonic possession, Claire makes a new enemy of the Friar. Later, after she and Jamie help a youth punished for stealing, Claire is given hope of going home when she hears an old folk tale about a time traveller.

The Leftovers, 9.00pm, Sky Atlantic

The puzzle of Kevin’s disturbed mind begins to take shape. With his relationship with Nora progressing, the police chief throws a dinner party for her, Jill and Aimee. The introductions don’t go well as Jill tries to pick an argument with Nora, sparking a downward spiral that has the teenager making a desperate decision.
