With filming on the fourth season of Call the Midwife at an end, the BBC has ordered a fifth series of the acclaimed drama.
The fifth series will include a 2015 Christmas special and eight episodes in 2016.
Season five, the BBC says, "will take the nuns and midwives into 1961".
Ahead of season five, fans can enjoy the upcoming Christmas special and series four in January 2015.
