Dublin singer-songwriter Susan McKeown has released a new video for On the Bridge to Williamsburg, a duet with Declan O'Rourke. Check it out here.
Speaking to TEN about the song, Susan said: "The duet is the opening song from my album, Belong, which has just been released in Ireland and the UK. I wrote it after walking the bridge, which spans the East River from Delancey Street to Williamsburg, where the album was recorded."
She said of working with O'Rourke: "Declan possesses one of the great Irish voices of our time so I was thrilled when I sent him the song and he agreed to sing it with me. He's a perfect gentleman, turned in a stellar performance of course, and we had a lot of fun making the video.
"It was directed by Niall McKay, an Irish filmmaker who heads up Irish Film New York, and the editing was done in Dublin by John Murphy. I was very happy to be working with them again as they did a beautiful job on my last video No Jericho."
McKeown plays Dublin's Sugar Club on December 14 at 7.30pm.
