Starring newcomer Lorenzo Richelmy, Marco Polo is based on the famed explorer’s adventures in Kublai Khan’s court in 13th century China.
From the back alleys of Venice to the battlefields of China, Marco Polo promises to be an epic action-adventure, 'where cultures clash, blood is spilled, and lies are told'.
The drama’s ten episodes were shot in Italy, Kazakhstan and Malaysia and features a global cast.
