Musician Jack Bruce has died, aged 71.
According to The Guardian, the Cream bassist and vocalist had been suffering from liver disease.
He passed away yesterday (October 25) and his death was announced on his official website.
His family said in a statement: "It is with great sadness that we, Jack's family, announce the passing of our beloved Jack: husband, father, granddad, and all round legend.
"The world of music will be a poorer place without him but he lives on in his music and forever in our hearts."
His publicist Claire Singers said: "Jack died today at his home in Suffolk surrounded by his family.”
Bruce began his career, which spanned nearly 50 years, in 1960s supergroup Cream alongside guitarist Eric Clapton and drummer Ginger Baker.
He was the songwriter and voice behind many of their biggest hits including Sunshine of Your Love and I Feel Free.
Cream split in 1968 and Bruce went on to have a successful solo career that spanned several decades. He released his last album Silver Rails in March 2014.
