Love/Hate star Johnny Ward, who plays bad boy Pauley in the crimeland drama, takes the lead role of Peter Pan in this year's Gaiety Christmas Panto in Dublin.
Ward previously played Buttons in Cinderella at the Gaiety in 2012.
Speaking about the dramatic change of roles from Pauley, he said: "I can't wait to play the lead in Peter Pan this year. Having performed in the panto two years ago, I know first-hand how much hard work, as well as fun it is going to be!"
Director and choreographer Daryn Crosbie said: "Johnny is the perfect fit for Peter Pan. Not only is he an excellent actor, his singing and dancing skills will surprise you."
Crosbie continued: "He brings the devil-may-care attitude to the role, mixed with the boyish charm that you expect from the character of Peter Pan."
