The numbers remain high for Love/Hate with an average of 879,700 tuning in to watch the latest episode – this means 54% of people who were watching TV in Ireland on Sunday, October 19, chose to watch Love/Hate on RTÉ One.

***Spoiler Alert ***

While nobody was murdered in last night's episode it was still as bloody and violent as ever with three prisoners attacking Fran in his cell and Nidge's gang kidnapping Fran's loyal sidekick, Dean.

Nidge had ordered Pottsie – Aido's brother who's serving a prison sentence – to get rid of Fran, but all did not go according to plan.

Fran managed to overcome Pottsie and they both ended up in hospital, Pottsie definitely coming out worse.

Meanwhile, Dean, who was ordered by Fran to find a hitman to 'whack' Nidge, was kidnapped by Elmo and Aido.

Earlier in the episode Elmo collected a large batch of dodgy garden gnomes. After smashing them open, he buried their contents in a large hole. You can be sure it wasn't daffodils he was planting.
