Bargain Hunt's antiques expert Tim Wonnacott and his professional dance partner Natalie Lowe have become the latest couple to be eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing.

The couple lost out to TV presenter Mark Wright and his professional partner Karen Hauer in the dance-off.

Speaking after his elimination, Wonnacott said: "It's a great treat to be on a programme like Strictly.

"For an old geezer like me, who comes along in his 64th year and he's slightly portly, and he thinks he's a bit over the hill, this last month, with this delightful teacher, has taken me to a very special place."

He continued: "I am fitter, I am a better person than I was a month ago as a result of this experience, and I cannot tell you what a wonderful thing this whole programme is so I commend you all and thank-you.

"I would like to say what a treat it's been. Thank-you very much, and thank-you to my lovely Nat."

When asked if he would continue to dance with Lowe, Wonnacott replied: "Definitely. I'm going to move to Australia! No, it's been a treat and a real enhancing experience so you can't ask for more, really. And thank-you so much to everyone who has supported us. Thank-you."
