Multi-million-selling designer folkies Mumford & Sons are currently in studio recording with Arctic Monkeys and Haim producer James Ford, according to reports.
"It’s very early days yet, but the sessions have been going well". says a source close to the band but it is not known if the band are working on a third album with Ford.
The band's last album, Babel, was released in 2013 and the most recent reports on their activities suggested they were on a hiatus.
The band's frontman Marcus Mumford recently joined forces with Elvis Costello and Jim James of My Morning Jacket for a forthcoming 'lost' Bob Dylan lyrics LP entitled Lost On The River: The New Basement Tapes, which was produced by T Bone Burnett and is released in November.
