Queen Latifah has been chosen to host the Hollywood Film Awards.
Speaking about hosting the event, which will air live for the very first time on CBS from the Hollywood Palladium on Friday, November 14, Latifah said she is "honoured to be a part of such a legendary award show."
The 44-year-old singer and actress, added: "The Hollywood Film Awards have been a staple in the awards season for years, and I'm excited to be the first host to bring them to television."
The Hollywood Film Awards, founded in 1997, is produced by Dick Clark Productions.
