It has been confirmed that actor Jude Law is expecting a child with his ex-girlfriend, Catherine Harding.
The 41-year-old Sherlock Holmes star is already father to three children, Rafferty, 18; Iris, 13; and Rudi, 12; with his ex-wife Sadie Frost, and he also has a daughter, Sophia, aged five, with model Samantha Burke, whom he dated briefly in 2008.
One of Law's representatives told Us Weekly: "I can confirm that Jude Law and Catherine Harding are expecting a child together in the spring. Whilst they are no longer in a relationship, they are both wholeheartedly committed to raising their child."
The representative added: "They consider this a private matter and other than this confirmation no statement will be made."
