Need to boost the temperature on these cold autumn nights? Well Angela Scanlon goes Full Frontal on RTÉ2 tonight, Thursday October 16, with a new and provocative four-part series which kicks off at 9.30pm.
Following on from the success of Oi Ginger!, the recently-married Scanlon is back on our screens with Full Frontal – an intimate look at some of the ways in which Irish people like to get naked.
Speaking to the RTÉ Guide about the cheekily titled show, Scanlon said: "You can tackle subjects that are sensitive, sometimes sad, but it's always for me about approaching it with a sense of humour in a light-handed way."
Over the four part series Scanlon will explore the nation's self-conscious and sometimes uncomfortable relationship with the naked body.
She gets up close and personal with naturists and their bits in Drumshanbo (location for the World Naturist Congress last month), watches 'real' women bare all in a bid to make peace with their bodies and sees a very different side to Rosanna Davison, Ireland's first ever Playboy centrefold.
Scanlon also undergoes her very own extreme make-over, shedding her signature style to test-drive the look that Ireland loves most. She gets to grips with the suggestion that she needs liposuction and looks at the growing obsession with a robust derriere and world of bum jobs.
Full Frontal, RTÉ2, 9:30pm.
