It is reported that a second series of the award-winning detective drama Top of the Lake is in development.
ScreenDaily.com, which broke the story, says that the writers of the original series, Jane Campion and Gerard Lee, are working on the new season.
Campion and Garth Davis directed the first series, which won a number of awards, including Golden Globe and Critics' Choice honours for star Elisabeth Moss.
