As one of the founding partners of Eurosonic, 2fm has previously sent The Strypes, Little Green Cars, The Frames, James Vincent McMorrow, The Coronas, Cathy Davey, God Is An Astronaut, Heathers, Julie Feeney and JJ72, among others, to the festival.
The Riptide Movement said: "We're delighted that RTÉ 2fm has chosen our band to represent Ireland at Eurosonic."
The band added: "Having played Glastonbury, Benicassim and Electric Picnic, Eurosonic is one of those festivals that we've always wanted to play. Bring it on, we can't wait!"
