When asked what advice she would give her younger self, Angelina Jolie said she would not change a thing, as every decision she made has brought her to where she is now.

The star, who was recently honoured by Britain's Queen Elizabeth, told People magazine her advice would be: "Not to change a thing. I would probably say enjoy the freedom as much as you can before it goes away."

She continued: "Enjoy the walks in the park and the backpacking and travelling and living. Which I didn't, but I would have liked to have done more before it became a little less easy to do so.

"You can never prepare for the future, because it's all those things that build up to who you are."

Jolie added: "You have to let your younger self be scared of things and attack things head-on. Make bold choices and make mistakes, and it's all those things that add up to the person you later become."
