The Script were forced to cancel their concert in Melbourne, Australia on Saturday night, October 11, after their stage collapsed. There were no injuries.
The band broke the news on Twitter, saying: "So sorry we can't play tonight. The stage collapsed, thank God nobody was hurt. We'll be back soon. Sorry everyone."
They also posted on their official Facebook page: "Melbourne were [sic] so sorry the show got cancelled. It wasn't our choice. The stage collapsed and people where [sic] on it and next to it. For safely [sic] we had to asses [sic] the damage and it wasn't good. Apols to you all. We will be back to make it up. Thank god no one was hurt. Love you guys."
It has yet to be announced whether The Script will re-schedule the date for later in their tour.
