Traditional singer and song collector Len Graham from Antrim kicks off the autumn session of the Clé club on Wednesday next, October 15 in Liberty Hall, Dublin.
Len Graham is a leading authority on folk music in Ireland. He has been a full-time professional traditional singer since 1982 and has won international acclaim as a solo singer and story teller. He was a founder member of the group Skylark and recorded four albums with the group – Skylark (1987), All Of It (1989), Light and Shade (1992) and Raining Bicycles (1996).
The autumn series at the Clé club has a strong emphasis on songs and storytelling.
On November 19 Jimmy Crowley takes centre stage while on December 17, Dublin poet Vinny Caprani returns for a night of “rowdy rhymes, rec-im-itations’ and vulgar verse.'
Admission each night is €5. No booking required. Len Graham's performance begins at 8pm. Doors 7.45pm.
