Theatre Lovett’s play for children, Mr. Foley, The Radio Operator continues its short tour in Carlow (Fri 10) Galway (Mon 13, Tues 14, Wed 15) and Kilkenny (Fri 17, Sat 18).
Old Jack Foley has a sore toe and it’s not getting better. Once when he was young and strong he dreamed of joining the circus. But now, tired and grey, he sits alone by his radio twiddling the dials on his memories.
Louis Lovett with his wife Muireann Ahern Lovett bring a beautiful tale to audiences young and old in Mr. Foley, The Radio Operator. The show is suitable for 6 to 60-year-olds and is a gentle story of radio waves, sorrowful partings with hilarious slapstick comedy.

The work is written by Frances Kay (in collaboration with Theatre Lovett) and is directed by Muireann Ahern Lovett.
