Robert Downey Jr has revealed that a third instalment of Guy Richie's Sherlock Holmes is in the works.
The 49-year-old actor, who played the detective in the previous two movies, appears to have confirmed a third film is in development.
Speaking to Reddit Downey Jr said: ''Yes, we have a Sherlock 3 in development. We want it to be the best of the series, so that's a pretty tall order.''
Jude Law, who played the role of Dr. John Watson alongside Downey Jr's Sherlock, has also previously hinted that a third movie would be made. Last year he revealed that writing on the much-anticipated third instalment had commenced.
