Running from November 13-16, the Dublin Book Festival 2014 promises four days of readings, public interviews, debates, book launches and workshops. Almost all events are free.
Festival events will take place in and around Smock Alley Theatre, Temple Bar as well as satellite venues, including The Gutter Bookshop, The Irish Writers Centre, Fighting Words, Irish Georgian Society, Cooks Academy, National Library of Ireland and Dublin City Public Libraries.
The festival will open on Thursday November 13 with an event at 6.30pm presented in association with the National Gallery of Ireland. The occasion will feature the writers Alex Barclay, Kevin Barry, John Boyne and Dónal Ryan in conversation with RTÉ Radio 1’s Seán Rocks.
