The Coronas recently signed a record deal with Island Records, but what can we expect from their new album, The Long Way?
Island Records is home to some of the biggest artists in the world including Disclosure, Florence & the Machine, Mumford and Sons and Irish artists U2, Hozier and Little Green Cars.
Speaking about working with producer Eliot James (Kaiser Chiefs, Two Door Cinema Club, Noah and the Whale) on their Island debut, singer Danny O'Reilly said: "We liked the albums he'd worked on before, but mostly we chose him because we got on.
"He's very hands-on, he plays lots of instruments and he suggested some new directions for the songs we wouldn't have come up with ourselves."
The album will include the brand new single Just Like That, which is available to download from October 24, and previous single All the Others, released earlier this year.
"The last eight years have been a blast," said bassist Graham 'Knoxy' Knox. "We look back and can't believe what we've achieved."
He continued: "The highlights? Too many to mention. But for me, meeting Paul McCartney when we supported him. He asked who was the bassist. I said me. He said, 'Okay, here's my advice. Don't break up'."
"And we haven't," said O'Reilly. "We can't. Paul McCartney said so."
The Long Way is set for release on November 21.
