Damien Rice will perform songs from his forthcoming comeback album, My Favourite Faded Fantasy, on Later... with Jools Holland tonight on BBC 2.
This will be the Kildare man's only European TV appearance in the run-up to the release of the new album, which is due out on October 31, and there will be an extended edition of the show this Friday night at 10.35pm.
My Favourite Faded Fantasy is Rice’s first collection of material in eight years and was produced by Rick Rubin and Rice. Rice previewed the new music by releasing the album’s title track online.
Rice’s only Irish show at Dublin's Bord Gais Energy Theatre on November 3 sold out in the record time of two minutes recently.
